Full Job Description

PNTA is seeking to hire a part-time Broadcast and live Events Grip to support our growing team and operations. All shifts are paid at a minimum of 4 hours and can vary from full days to 1-2hr requirements. Shifts are available every day of the week, during and after business hours. Since 1975, PNTA has served our local theater, nonprofit, and corporate communities through retail services, production rentals, systems integration, and event production. Our goal is to provide our clients with excellent customer service, clear communication, creative concepts for their productions, and flawless execution on deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining company safety standards in accordance with OSHA guidelines

  • Maintain excellent customer interactions when working on site

  • Understanding and utilizing proper truck loading and unloading methods for the safety of personnel and equipment

  • Following directions on the handling and set up of event production equipment.

  • Displaying a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and kindness with clients and coworkers

  • Attention to detail

Qualifications


Essential

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Capacity to work flexible hours including evenings, afterhours, and weekends

  • Capable of recurring standing, bending, lifting, pushing and walking with gear up to 75 lbs. over an eight-hour, and occasionally longer, workday

  • Dependability and punctuality

  • Hard-working and self-disciplined

  • Able to work well independently as well as with others

  • Flexible, able to respond with calm efficiency to unexpected or challenging situations

Preferred

  • Knowledge of local event services vendors

  • Familiarity with local venues and the Greater Seattle area

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Interest in developing additional skillsets within event production and audiovisual work

  • Fundamental understanding of live event technology.

  • One (1) year of related event industry experience

  • Experience constructing level staging

  • Familiarity with common warehouse tools and equipment

  • Lift certification
