Full Job Description
PNTA is seeking to hire part-time Audio Engineer to support our growing team and operations. All shifts are paid at a minimum of 4hrs and can vary from full days to 1-2hr requirements. Shifts are available every day of the week, during and after business hours. Since 1975, PNTA has served our local theater, nonprofit, and corporate communities through retail services, production rentals, systems integration, and event production. Our goal is to provide our clients with excellent customer service, clear communication, creative concepts for their productions, and flawless execution on deliverables.
Responsibilities
Maintaining company safety standards in accordance with OSHA guidelines
Maintain excellent customer interactions when working on site
Displaying a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and kindness with clients and coworkers
Leading small teams of Grips loading in and setting up video equipment on site per instructions from Project Management
Qualifications
Essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Capacity to work flexible hours including evenings, afterhours, and weekends
Dependability and punctuality
Hard-working and self-disciplined
Able to work well independently as well as with others
Flexible, able to respond with calm efficiency to unexpected or challenging situations
Ability to:
Experience operating large format digital/analog systems
Running wireless systems more than 6 channels (tuning, frequency management, distro)
Networking audio gear/troubleshooting, ability to remotely control and mix audio
Dante experience preferred
Experience with line array integration and operation (hang to spec and configuration)
Experience with auctions, live music, theatrical productions and corporate needs
Ability to run 8 ,and more, independent inputs
Ability to integrate subgroups and manage monitor mixes/IEMS independently of mains
Ability to integrate multiple audio systems into one
Ability to tune the room and incorporate delays as necessary
Ability to integrate effects using a digital console (de-esser, gates, ducking, etc)
Experience developing plots with signal distribution
Ability to integrate client hardware into system
Ability to record and convert files
Preferred
Knowledge of local event services vendors
Familiarity with local venues and the Greater Seattle area
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
