JOB NARRATIVE
As a PNTA Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in collaborating with clients to understand their needs, and design, manage, and execute exceptional events, activations, and estimations of installs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in system function, and has experience managing installations onsite. We seek individuals who bloom in a fast-growing and evolving setting, embrace challenges, and are passionate about supporting 21st-century audience experiences with innovative solutions.
This position is estimated to be approximately 60% project management, and 40% project estimation, depending on business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the entire production life cycle of both live event and system integration projects.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create detailed event quotes, including all necessary equipment.
• Communicate regularly with clients to understand their production requirements.
• Conduct site visits with clients to assess show needs and venue considerations.
• Develop timelines, show schedules, and budgets, followed by postproduction costing analysis.
• Source or create media assets for productions.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory equipment (e.g., function, labor requirements, and pricing).
• Coordinate staffing and logistics for events and bring to Labor Coordinator.
• Plan sub-rentals/contracts when necessary.
• Lead production teams of 2-10 individuals.
• Attend department meetings virtually and in person to engage in communication for present and future projects.
• Attend project meetings virtually and in person.
• Proactively connect with both previous and potential clients to expand our clientele and encourage their ongoing patronage (e.g., Follow-Up Emails, intake on room for improvement, Networking Events).
• Support and train staff and crew members as needed.
Coordinate the delivery and removal of tools/equipment from jobsite(s) before and after projects, and other items left behind.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate production logistics and departmental operations.

REQUIREMENTS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Fundamental understanding of live audio, event lighting, video, rigging, and power distribution.
• Proficiency in task prioritization aligned with project goals.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities.

• Physical Working Conditions
o Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
o Work at heights on ladders, lifts and stage grids.
o Physically able to walk, crawl and work in difficult positions and areas.
o Physically able to sit at a desk for 6-8hrs a day working on a computer.
• Preferred but not required:
o CAD/Drafting Ability (Vectorworks Preferred).
o Proficiency with Adobe Suite.
o Knowledge of local event service vendors.
o Familiarity with local venues.
o Fabrication and Rigging Knowledge.
EXPERIENCE
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• 1+ year of audiovisual event sales experience.
• 5+ years of live event production experience.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• This position is salaried, starting at $69,264.
